Client Goals

A fast-growing plant-based meal delivery startup needed a New York office that embodied their brand’s fresh, health-focused ethos while blending elements of hospitality and workplace design. The space had to accommodate both an R&D kitchen and a formal event kitchen for guest tastings, along with flexible seating for a growing team.

Our Approach

We blurred the lines between café, club lounge, and office. Instead of a traditional reception, we designed a custom smoothie bar where guests are greeted with smoothies from the client’s product line—a signature brand experience from the moment they enter. The layout positioned public, guest-facing spaces at the forefront, while work areas were thoughtfully separated by glass-fronted conference rooms to maintain connectivity and light.

The Result

The finished space feels warm, on-brand, and distinctly the client’s own—complete with multiple lounge areas, a connecting stair between two floors, and refined details that merge wellness, functionality, and design. The result is a workplace that doubles as a lifestyle statement, embodying the company’s mission in both form and experience.
