Client Goals

Day One Agency, a creative marketing agency and longtime client, approached us to design an expansion to their existing New York office. Their goal was to create a collaborative, multi-use environment that could support day-to-day work while also functioning as a flexible hub for meetings, content creation, and events. They also wanted the new space to celebrate the agency’s culture and showcase artwork from their award-winning campaigns.

Our Approach

We designed a layout that balanced structure with creative fluidity. Artwork created by D1A’s in-house team became a defining visual element, anchoring the space with the agency’s signature energy and identity. Instead of traditional assigned desks, we introduced large communal worktables and shared surfaces to encourage movement and collaboration. One side of the office was dedicated to meeting rooms, while the opposite side operated as an open co-working zone with work nooks, lounge areas, and an event-ready footprint. A soundproof podcast studio added a purposeful, content-driven amenity aligned with their evolving creative needs.

The Result

The final space feels dynamic, expressive, and inherently D1A—an adaptable environment that supports focused work, collaboration, and the constant creation of new ideas. It extends the spirit of the original office while giving the team new ways to gather, produce, and showcase their work.
